3/8/2012 - investigating sudden breakdown that occurred in a parking lot a couple days ago... narrowed it down to a short on input side of dc-dc. This is a close shot of what I can see of the input side of the Chennic dc-dc which was shorted. nothing real obvious, and you cant see any of the components since it is completely potted. One wire is VERY close to end of bolt, and the ground wire ran by a little tab thing sticking up thru the epoxy, and the tab thing was sort of 'broken' looking and crusty right next to the wire. Who knows?!
