Note the motor advance... I was curious to know if it could or should be fine tuned for max performance. Short answer is that there is only one set of holes for CCW/CW advance; so unless you are racing and want to optimize for specific rpm, its not worth worrying about. spade connections shown are for 'brush wear indication', but a little hard to deal with since it will put out armature voltage (not continuity like the motor overheat snap switch you put 12v thru) when brushes wear down to a certain point.
