Initial 'top-balancing' charge has been chugging away for days now.... Batteries arrive about half full. I am a believer in setting them up in parallel and bringing them up to 'full' at my target cell voltage (3.70v) before installation in series in the vehicle for final balance at end-of-charge. This allows me to run without a 'Battery Management System' (BMS) and rely on the battery charger to do its job as simply as possible since all the cells *should* reach end-of-charge at very nearly the same time at very nearly the same target max voltage (3.65 volts per cell).
