Zappy and I Guest Lectured at Charles Besinger's SFCC class AF-111 on 'Alternative Fuels' where they learn how to grow algae for oil and turn veggie oil into bio-diesel. We spent about 1-1/2 hours in the classroom going thru alternative fuels in transportation leading up to using electric cars for Urban/sub-urban transportation. We ran thru an overview of the design decisions involved in converting a gasoline car to full electric, and then spent about 1/2 hour in show-n-tell outside with Zappy.
