early in Jan 2013 there was a loud 'clunk', and it became obvious that the quick welded band-aid I added to the original motor mount just couldn't hold up. I had welding a section of angle iron right over the original break that had run thru a bolt hole on a flat section under the highest stress... turns out that even a measly 30kW thruput of the ADC8" with Curtis 1221c controller was enough to fatigue the weakened mount over time...
