Kids were complaining about how hard and slippery the uncovered polypro back seat was, so I decided to try my hand at upolstery... Using some artificial turf in a twisted comic attempt to go 'green'. ;) Perhaps I'll come back and do it with Corinthian leather someday, but the turf is kind fun for now, AND does a nice job of deadening some of the road noise coming up thru the rear cargo area. I used some layers of closed cell packing foam for a little padding, and only fastened the front edge to the seat. I will need to get to the screws and remove the lid monthly for battery watering....
