An alternative to buying an expensive 'fish tape' for helping cable-pulling is to use a 'feminine hygene product' as a mouse, and suck it thru a conduit with a shop vac. This works amazingly well as it can be adjusted to fit most sizes of conduit and has a handy string to tie to contractor string.... A small shop vac will suck that thing through the most complex bends with no problems. You can then measure the length of cable to cut, tape it to the end of contractor string and pull it back thru to assist the cable ends past joints and around bends.
