the plan is to put a U channel below the original crossmember position and bolt to the tow plates. I might weld in place, OR maybe leave as a bolt-in so that it COULD be dropped and replaced if I change battery size later, or I might lift into place with all the batteries pre-installed in the rack to avoid tipping them around later....
